We are extremely happy to announce that the three regional pilot tests have been successfully completed, with 75 people testing the activities in Prato, Montserrat and Girona. The groups completed 26 activities in the regions and will be providing feedback to help improve the spiritual offering. The regional stakeholders will also be providing feedback to help us improve the experience.
Event Follow Up: Spirit Youth and the Marketing and commercialisation of Spiritual Tourism for young consumers
The SPIRIT YOUTH workshop “Marketing and commercialisation of Spiritual Tourism for young consumers” was organised by the partners of the consortium of the project Spirit Youth, lead by NECSTouR – Network of European Regions for a Competitive and Sustainable Tourism – with the support of the Catalonia Tourism Board.
We are still looking for young participants to take part in a free one-week pilot test in the Netherlands to experiment activities related to Spirituality.
The Spirit Youth project is financed by the European program COSME and coordinated by NECSTOUR . It aims to develop a European transnational tourism itinerary for young people around the concept of Spiritual Tourism, understood in a global sense.
We have had a busy, but rewarding, time since summer! The project has moved from the research stage into the implementation and testing stage. The biggest news is that the first groups of young people have successfully visited Prato and Montserrat and completed the Spiritual Tourism activities there. You can read about the Testing in the newsletter, as well as news on the Capacity Building Workshops and our upcoming event in Barcelona.
